Neri Colmenares#22

PARTYLIST Makabayan (MKBYN) Human rights lawyer & activist, former Bayan Muna rep, 40+ years of experience

About Neri Colmenares

Highly-progressive, Colmenares is a previous three-term Bayan Muna representative and current head of Makabayan, a coalition of pro-poor, pro-mass groups. A human rights lawyer and activist, Colmenares has been highly vocal on labor rights, criticizing anti-poor legislation and human rights violations in the current administration (also being a previous rebel and survivor of martial law). In his second attempt at running for office, he shows no signs of backing down from his people-oriented, nationalist policies.
